By accessing or using 5500mcp.ai, you agree to these Terms of Use. The site is operated by HnyComb.ai LLC, a Texas limited liability company ("5500mcp", "we", or "us"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the site, the Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, or any data obtained from either.

5500mcp.ai makes U.S. Department of Labor Form 5500 data available through a public website and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server. Data is sourced from the DOL EBSA public Form 5500 datasets, including Form 5500, Form 5500-SF, and their schedules. We reproduce only what plan administrators themselves filed; we do not verify, modify, guarantee, or endorse the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the underlying filings. Where a plan left a field blank, the service says "Not filed" rather than supplying a number.

5500mcp.ai is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, EBSA, EFAST2, the IRS, the PBGC, or any plan, sponsor, or service provider listed on the site. Plan names, sponsor names, EINs, plan numbers, and other identifying information appear solely to identify publicly filed records.

Nothing on this site is fiduciary, investment, legal, tax, accounting, or employment advice, a recommendation, an endorsement of any plan, sponsor, or service provider, or a solicitation of any transaction. Fee percentiles describe a position inside a stated cohort and are never a judgement that a fee is reasonable, high, low, or excessive. Using the site or the MCP server does not create an advisory, fiduciary, client, or professional relationship between you and 5500mcp, any listed plan, or any third party.

Data shown on 5500mcp.ai reflects only what a plan administrator self-reported to the DOL as of its most recent filing. It may be incomplete, outdated, or contain errors that originated in the filing itself or in our ingestion, processing, or display of the filing. The DOL's EFAST2 system at efast.dol.gov is the authoritative source and controls over anything shown here.

You must verify any information directly with EFAST2 or the plan administrator before relying on it for any purpose. If you believe information displayed about you or a plan you represent is inaccurate, contact us at hnycomb.ai to request a review and correction. We will investigate in good faith and correct or remove confirmed errors within a reasonable time.

Access via the MCP server or any automated client is subject to these Terms. If you operate, deploy, or direct an AI agent or other automated system that queries this service, you are bound by these Terms and are solely responsible for every request your agent makes and for how any data returned to your agent is used. Fair-use limits of 60 requests per minute, 900 per hour, and 5,000 per day per client apply so that one client cannot crowd out the rest, and may be adjusted without notice.

You agree that you will not:

• Use the site to harass, stalk, or harm any individual, plan, or sponsor.
• Use the data to build or contribute to a database used for unlawful discrimination, harassment, or unsolicited-contact campaigns targeting the listed plans, sponsors, or individuals.
• Present the data in a way that implies DOL endorsement or that 5500mcp.ai verified the information.
• Remove or alter attribution to 5500mcp.ai or the DOL EBSA source.
• Attempt to overload, abuse, or interfere with the service.
• Use automated tools in a way that violates our fair-use limits.

You must respect the DOL's terms of use and attribution requirements whenever you reuse or redistribute public data obtained through this service.

The site and MCP server are public and read-only. Do not transmit participant nonpublic personal information, personally identifiable information, or any confidential or regulated data to this service or through the MCP endpoint. You are solely responsible if you do.

THE SERVICE AND ALL DATA ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIM THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any data is accurate, complete, current, or reliable. You use the service and any data entirely at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 5500mcp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, lost business opportunity, or loss of goodwill arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use the service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). These limits apply even if a remedy fails of its essential purpose. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations or exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless 5500mcp and its members, officers, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your use or redistribution of data obtained here.

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service or any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and both parties consent to personal jurisdiction and venue there.

Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and the unenforceable provision will be limited to the minimum extent necessary.

No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision.

Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and 5500mcp regarding the service.

Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Survival. Sections 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination of these Terms.
